In mid-2025 we combined our two divisions into a single brand, renamed Ariston⋅Motivo Furniture Company.  Our skilled domestic and international production staff at both facilities manufacture our custom and inline products.  We will continue to build on our decades of distinctive designs and our commitment to quality construction.

Our Old World approach to craftsmanship and sophistication allows us to produce original pieces in both small and large quantities.  We design custom seating and casegoods solutions for high-traffic environments from boutique hotels to corporate offices. By combining state-of-the-art construction methods and time-tested production techniques, our proficient and talented team handcrafts every item; expertly fashioning raw materials into handsome, durable pieces of furniture.  As a multi-national, family-owned manufacturing operation, we cater to your unique requirements, provide inspiration, and source materials from all over the globe.  Our domestic manufacturing facilities in California and North Carolina, allow us to fulfill orders that are completely US-made. Our diligent management team oversees operations in the US and Asia to bring abundant resources to bear as we collaborate on manufacturing and design. In concert with sourcing production components and materials, we strive to identify and reduce the impact our operations have on the environment.  We achieve such efficiencies while implementing practices that conserve and protect our natural resources.  The lumber we use is harvested by suppliers who reseed and manage their lands using advanced reforestation techniques. All of our components and materials, such as exotic woods, are chosen from responsible suppliers. Our production facilities incorporate a variety of environmentally friendly manufacturing technologies and innovative procedures to conserve energy and reduce waste.  The Ariston⋅Motivo staff works as a team to accommodate your every design challenge and communicate with you through every step of the process (from initial concept drawings through production) to ensure on-time delivery. Skilled and dedicated production personnel, many of whom are second generation craftsmen, deliver well-fitting upholstery, superb woodwork and stunning finishes. Whether for guestroom, board room, lounge or lobby we offer you beautiful, custom-made furniture that seamlessly combines our global aesthetic and your individual vision.  In 2020 Ariston purchased Motivo Furniture facilities in High Point, NC.  The acquisition provided an east coast manufacturing and shipping location and an extensive, contemporary, fashion-forward, fully-upholstered and exposed wood frame seating collections.    These products are designed to appeal to designers, owners and guests at hotel, restaurant, commercial, country club and healthcare properties.  Our product categories include arm chairs, side chairs and bar stools for dining and lounge areas, occasional chairs and sofas for guest rooms and public spaces, and pedestal and task chairs for offices and meeting rooms.  

All of our standard products are constructed to exacting specifications and contract grade construction techniques including assembly, application of foam products (TB 117-2013), material selection and wood finishing.  Our seating products meet or exceed applicable BIFMA or ANSI standards, are CATAS tested and our superior conversion varnish wood finishes pass KCMA testing for industrial use.
